Year Round Programs

  • Shabbat – Ages 3-8

    A musical story about shabbat – which uses the story line to highlight some of the major themes of shabbat. Throughout the story, singalong songs of shabbat are used to highlight these ideas and to promote student participation and group involvement.

    The story touches on the parsha of the week and shares ideas about the holiness of shabbat, our weekly day of rest from creative work, a special opportunity to spend time with family, for songs, festivities and prayer.

  • Havdalah – All Ages

    There is no better way to transition out of shabbat than with a hearty and soulful Havdala program.  Set in a dim lit room, this program is designed to kindle the spirit and allow the energy of shabbat to inspire and permeate us. Through acoustic music, song, and D’var Torah (inspiring words of Torah) this program highlights the message of shabbat and moves us to bring some of shabbat with is into the week.

    This program is available all year round, and includes the traditional Havdala service (including wine, spices, and candle light).
